WHO & WHY ARE WE

In the Second Punic War, Hannibal wins major victories against Rome in MAJOR AMBUSH OF LAKE TRASIMENE, and in MONUMENTAL BATTLE OF CANNAE, bringing Rome to her knees. The War continues for seventeen years ending with Hannibals' defeat in 202 BC, due to lack of support from Carthage.

Rome's first Civil Strife, Populares vs Optimates, 133 BC. Rome expanded beyond borders of Italy, into Gaul, Spain and Greece, led by Gaius Marius. Great Civil War, Caesar and Populares defeat Pompey and Rome's Senate Optimates - followed by death of Pompey 48 BC, and death of Caesar 44 BC.

From 538 BC to 231 BC, Carthage began as a dominant power along with the Etruscans and the Greeks. By 231 BC, Rome was the dominant power, and Carthage had taken major steps to conceal from the Romans, their buildup of forces in preparation to combat and overcome Rome.

At the rate that Human population is growing, our World will no longer be able to support our Human population. The biggest problem is uniting us seven billion Humans to resolve our demise. We must devise a ‘Saving Strategy’, or perish. Let us unite in paying heed to this problem.

Having originated as a small group of humans over 315,000 years ago, we humans world-wide today are all related to each other. In our seeking plans for the future, it is important to remember the relationship that we share with each other.
