About the Book
As more and more returning POWs talk about their experiences in Hanoi prisons, "The Cuban Program" becomes a troubling sore spot within the State Department and Congress. It is shoveled under the rug and becomes an 'out-of-sight-out-of-mind' issue. As the issue settles into oblivion, the DEA and CIA are requested by the Mexican Government to assist in halting the increase in drug trafficking. When the request is received by the CIA, a low level desk-bound agent reviews the names of drug lords and recognizes a name. One of the drug lords was the same person she previously identified as the Officer in Charge of 'The Cuban Program' in North Vietnam. Her information is passed up the chain to the Director of Latin Affairs. She is immediately dispatched to Mexico to assist in his capture or elimination. In Mexico she again partners with the man seeking revenge for his father's death at the hands of a Cuban interrogator in Hanoi. The journey for revenge continues. This book, "Cobra Undercover", is the second book of the three book series. The third book, "Cuba's Most Wanted" completes the series.
