Having been a long-time student of both metaphysics and spiritual development, Don has yet to find any other references that cover the range of topics and options presented here. In addition, he provides personal perspectives of both the internal changes and the physiological effects of these spiritual development practices, pro and con. This leaves it up to the reader whether or not he/she will want to proceed with any of these practices, since there are definitely temporary negative effects! On the other hand, by describing the positive changes in the inner, as well as the changes in life style, while offering no guarantees that exactly the same results can be obtained for everyone, he provides the reader with a real choice. When Goswami's book, The Self-Aware Universe appeared, he thought he might have lost his chance to make a contribution to this field, since Goswani was saying exactly what Don had wanted to say, but with much greater clarity and technical authority. About the Author

As a retired military and a multidiscipline aerospace/systems engineer for almost 50 years, Don had a "parallel life" of family and metaphysics research which naturally evolved into spiritual development and, along with his late wife, Diane, a ministerial ordination from a Reno, NV-based church which primarily worked with the local HIV/AIDS community. After Diane’s passing, he assembled and eventually published the materials that came through her (eleven books with links on this website), and worked on his own two closely related books.

In moderating a Healing Earth meditation/low-level shamanic group for three years in Ashland, OR, and after having an event-filled life that had allowed him to experience far more than he ever could have imagined, he also found he was blessed with what he called Far Sight, interdimensional remote viewing of the Universal Energy processes the group initiated (ref. "Manifesting Mechanics" at Light-Path-Resources.org and in Engineering Your Spirituality).
