All the locals immediately assume the murders were committed by Mexican raiders or bandits crossing over the border into New Mexico. Posses were sent out in a rush to punish the supposed Mexican criminals.
A Deputy Marshall from Lordsburg, New Mexico does not believe for a moment that Mexicans committed this crime, and he proceeds to investigate it to disprove the assumption, and find the real killers. In his investigation, he finds an unusual conspiracy under unique circumstances, and tries to prevent it from taking place by finding the real criminals. He is faced with threats to his life and person. Will he survive, and prove his point? If he survives and brings justice to the real murderers, he might accomplish his task...

David K. Martineau spent four years as a youngster in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and another five years in Mexico City. He served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, retiring as a CW4 Chief Warrant Officer, Spanish and Russian-speaking Interrogation Technician, including service at Fort Huachuca, AZ, the home of the Buffalo Soldier. He then served another 15 years as an Intelligence Officer, Defense Intelligence Agency. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the State of New York. He is married, and lives in Corona, CA. |
