Lance S. Barron finished his four-year enlistment in the U.S. Air Force in April 1976. That June he began the best job of his life: seasonal cave guide at Mammoth Cave National Park. For two summers and a couple of holidays, Lance guided, mostly trailed, visitors through what were then known as the self-guided Historic, the Scenic tour, and the Frozen Niagara tour. He lives in Marietta, Georgia, with his best friend and wife, Barbara. |
