About the Book
Cillian McGonegal has spent most of his life solving ancient mysteries. Now he and his friends are a part of those mysteries. Trapped by the monster calling himself Thadnelius J. Gromfort, with the fear that Susanne McKinnon and Nathan McPhee will be forever trapped in the afterworld, he must restore an ancient artifact with all of its missing pieces. The task requires the navigating of time itself and the artifact is calling the shots.

Redemption and Illumination: The Way Home is the conclusion of the McGonegal Chronicles. The artifact is searching with Cillian and his party as they travel to find its missing pieces so they can free their friends who are trapped in the underworld by the monster Atun (Thadnelius J.Gromfort). The task is daunting as they travel back and forth through time, but now they have help on the outside from the Archivist and his agents. The clock is running out and The Way Home is perilous, and Redemption and Illumination exacts a price. Time is a cruel taskmaster. Will they survive? The answer is in the past.

About the Author
Terence A. McSweeney Terence McSweeney is a retired middle school teacher of English and Social Studies with a BA in Political Science from Boston College and a MS in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University. Redemption and Illumination is his sixth manuscript. His first book, Poems & Thoughts is a work of original oil paintings, poetry, and observations. Green Underwear, his second book by contrast, is an autobiography about growing up in the fifties and sixties during the Cold war era. He has written a children’s book entitled, Little One’s Big Day and Volumes 1 and 2 of the McGonegal Chronicles entitled The Quest and The Twelve Gates. When he is not writing Mr. McSweeney works in his studio creating impressionistic oil painted landscapes.
