About the Book
Next Generation and American Book Fest award-wining author, Patricia Miller, returns with the third installment in this riveting and heart-twisting trilogy.

Books 1 and 2 in this young adult science fiction romance series (Joshua: Life After Theos and Joshua: Breaking Free)recounts how Joshua, a brilliant teenage alien scientist from Theos, risks his career and life to prove Theosians and Earthlings can live peacefully side by side. Little does he know, his strong-minded and wild ex-girlfriend stows away on his stolen space craft and plummets to Earth with him.

Life on Earth turns out to be harder to manage than he ever imagined. He knows everything about chemistry and science but he can't seem to talk to a girl, dress cool or learn how to dance without looking goofy. But things get much crazier than that.

He soon finds that his government has sent a spy to hunt him down and bring him home to answer for his law-breaking decisions. He fights against this as well as a life threatening illness. Joshua learns that he must let friends and feelings into his life in order to survive. But, eventually he finds a way to turn the tables and plea his case in front of the Theosian government, with his love and friends by his side for support.

Having been deemed a Theosian hero and invited to join a US top-secret, long-distance space travel government research committee, the unbelievable happens. Not only does his committee spot interplanetary communications on their sophisticated monitors, but he also discovers his government has been holding out on him about his parents' research findings nearly twenty years ago. The truth is hard to hear.

As Earth and Theos find themselves going head to head, he and his friends are hot on the trail of Theosian criminals trying to buy stolen chemicals from Earth to sell to other planets. How can he protect the Earthlings he has come to love and be a buffer between Earth and Theos?

In the midst of strange interplanetary communication readings, dangerous chemical heists, and top-secret government and intergalactic deception, Joshua finds himself caught between securing the safety of his Earthly love, Emma and loyalty to his home planet of Theos. With very few options and everything to lose, Joshua finds himself making the most crucial decisions of his life, while sealing the fate Between Two Worlds!
