Our nation stands at a crossroads as never before. Our world faces incredible challenges. The future looms before us full of uncertainty. Have you ever wondered what you could possibly do? Please don’t despair. Answers and hope are found in the pages of Scripture. The problems America encounters are not unique to her. Throughout history mankind and nations have experienced similar crisis. On many levels, America’s path parallels the path of the Biblical nation of Israel. Both were/are God fearing nations whose foundations were/are rooted in the principles and commandments of the Word of God. Both have strayed from those principles and commandments. Both have experienced God’s abundant blessing; they have also been subject to His discipline. The Bible contains stories of men and women whom God raised up in times of blessing and in times of despair. They were men and women of faith who lifted their voices in prayer before the God to whom they adhered. They stood firm in their faith and witnessed God respond to their prayers by performing the miraculous. Through their prayers they became history makers and history changers. At the Crossroads of What If examines some of those prayers, and the historical context in which they were prayed. It inspires the reader to release their imaginations by placing themselves in the historical setting. It encourages the reader to draw parallels between past and present time. It then challenges the reader to consider what if we were to bring the principles of those prayers into our modern day life. God is looking for men and women of faith in our generation. He is looking for those who will stand in faith and earnestly cry out to Him. Join me as we examine the prayers of some patriarchs, prophets and kings as recorded in Scripture. Imagine what if we were to embrace the truths and principles of those prayers and apply them in our world today. Be challenged to believe God for His supernatural intervention in our time. As they were, we too, can be history makers and history changers.
