About the Book
Detective John Bowers and his partner Minnie Raye struggle with their turbulent affair while pursuing a case of innocence betrayed. Homicide tests the mettle of every cop on the Central Precinct beat and it's only the brave hearts who can find a glimmer of hope in even the darkest souls.

This case is a puzzle -- is it kidnap, suicide or murder? And how can Bowers find the answer before it's too late to save another victim?
