About the Book
|
County Clare and Other Poems is a collection of love poems -- love for the natural world, for the dying, for the mysteries of life, and for fellow travelers. Perhaps, implicitly, the poems speak of love for the imagination. They range from a pilgrimage to the land of Celtic spirituality, a church in San Francisco, the death of an infant bird, Santa Claus, Walt Whitman, imaginary cowboys, and the growing necessity for peaceful revolutions (in our hearts and in our world) in the early part of the 21st century.
