About the Book
|
When my youngest daughter was four years old, she would only wear pink clothes. I asked her one time what she would like to be when she grew up, expecting an answer of "a princess" or "a fairy". Without hesitation, she looked me squarely in the eye and said, "a pig". When I asked why such an unusual choice, she said, "because they are pink." This was my inspiration to start writing this book. These poems are based on experiences I have had raising three children, and I am sure many parents will relate to the issues and concerns of their young children.
