About the Book
When ex-CIA operative Damon Courter is called back to help interrogate one of his old Russian contacts, he gets more than he bargained for. The contact is an imposter and his ex-wife is also on the case and she wants to reunite with him.

Damon’s life takes some unexpected turns as he is mugged on the street, the Russian imposter is murdered, and a high-ranking CIA officer is singled out by the Russian FSB to commit treason. Damon and Helen, the ex-wife, discover the Russian plot to ensnare the CIA officer. They quickly determine that the treasonous agent is only a pawn for the Russians. What the Russians really want is the name of the Israeli agent deep within the Iranian Nuclear Program.

In order to preserve the special relationship between the United States and Israel, Damon and Helen are sent to Iran to pull the agent out before the Israelis learn of the leak within the CIA and before the Russians identify and capture him.

Reviews
"Damon Courter, a retired CIA operative turned successful author, has his peaceful existence in the Colorado mountains interrupted by the arrival of a figure from his past. In the company of a CIA agent, Courter returns to Washington to positively identify a Russian defector. However, the man who claims to be Borisov isn't the same man Courter worked with during his CIA days. That would seem to be the end of the matter -- but then the Borisov imposter and the CIA agents protecting him are killed ... This abundance of twists turns, and double-crosses should satisfy readers eager for some armchair espionage."
