About the Book
Allace is a great human empire with dangerous secrets just beneath its surface. Charlie is a young vampire and the son of a late palace minister. His father was murdered when he was a young child, and the mystery surrounding his death was never laid to rest.

Characters from the past reappear in a cataclysmic struggle to take control of a powerful magical object – the Ring of Fate. Charlie is enlisted by an elderly wizard to take part in the struggle. In the course of it, he and his friends learn the art of magic, and slowly gain access to the higher dimensions which exist just beyond the physical realm.

Meanwhile, war erupts in the empire, as a ruthless, inhuman race invades. Unknown to most, the control of the Ring both precipitated the war and will determine its outcome. Charlie and his friends find themselves in a desperate race to recapture the Ring, or the empire will be doomed.

The Ring of Fate is a fast-paced story in which Charlie not only battles foes without, but his own inferiority complex on account of his being different from the others. It is both an exotic tale of fantasy as well as a touching story – of characters the reader will find all too human.
