About the Book
|
This book is based on the true story of Clarence Terhune, a 19-year-old golf caddy from St. Louis, Missouri, who stowed away in the Graf Zeppelin on its return flight to Germany in October of 1928.
He stowed away on trains, ships, and crashed major sporting events. He was always on the move seeking new escapades until he found out the Germans were flying a giant Zeppelin to America. Against all odds, Clarence sneaked onboard the dirigible to go on the most fantastic adventure of his life.
However, he was not counting on the massive storm that hit the airship and threatened to tear apart it over the Atlantic Ocean. Could he help save the ship? He would do anything to survive, but what could he do? Worse yet, he had to face the dark storm that was raging inside him and destroying is life. There were storms everywhere, but he had to fight, he had to survive.
