About the Book
|
Everyone has seen firemen. Not as many know them. They are brave, trained professionals dedicated to keeping life and property safe. Throughout history, they showed compassion and kindness to every living creature they encountered, and they often risked life and limb for the sake of a puppy as much as for a child.
But laughter followed them as well as danger. They showed a rough, boisterous humor to one another on a daily basis, and the situations they encountered and engineered could make a comedy writer rich.
There was some romance, too.
That was also part of the story.

About the Author |
|
Doug Nelson was raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts, as a fireman’s son. After college, he joined the navy, married, and pursued a career in aerospace. Even though he raised his family and lived in many places, he never forgot his hometown, his siblings, his neighbors, and the stories his father told. |
