... The book is really a manual ... a guide to disability leave entitlement for New York Public Employees involved in law enforcement and fire fighting. It cites hundreds of cases and covers hundreds of issues. To my knowledge, this is the only work of its kind. The book is professionally written and will undoubtedly be helpful to attorneys and others who practice this area of law. What is also unique about the book is that at times it is written like a treatise and at other times it includes the full text of court decisions like a law school case book. This is probably because some of the cited material may be hard to find....
