Susan Stone Tidrow received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Indianapolis and graduate degrees from Butler University and Indiana University. Her passion for performance-based music education led her to install thirty-two keyboards in her elementary music classroom. During her thirty-plus years in teaching, she has given keyboard instruction to thousands of students as part of their music class curriculum, in addition to giving private lessons. She has also written and directed her students in the performance of several elementary school musicals each year. Susan still “goes to school” every day at Mary Castle Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana.
