Dog Star

Newly single Asian antiquities expert Abigail (“Abby”) Forrest Swann has returned to her ancestral home, Swann’s Nest, to rebuild her business and private life when her childhood friend’s beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Teke, is dognapped. Suspecting Teke’s rivals in a competition to become a television spokesdog, Abby sets out to track the dognappers. When her Tibetan Spaniels, petite Dawa (Moon) and her big brother Senge (Lion), lead her to a body, Abby herself becomes the target. In a thrilling climax, Abby needs a little transcendental help from the mystical “old soul” Dawa and the loyal Senge when she comes face to face with the hunter in the Devil’s Woodyard.
