About the Book
Father Garcia, priest and researcher for the Vatican, discovers an ancient text written in the hand of Jesus. It prophesies Christ’s reincarnation in the second millennium, however, the Pontiff refuses to release the message and orders it destroyed.

Jerry Watson, a cloning expert, joins forces with Paul Mcguire, the world’s leading DNA specialist, and Du Franklin, a carbon-dating guru who is carbon dating the “Crown of Thorns” at Notre Dame in Paris.

Franklin smuggles DNA back home where two sets are discovered, one male, one female. Plans are made to clone Jesus Christ, code name: J2K using the female set for Jerry’s wife Sally, and an unsuspecting couple for the male sample.

Franklin jeopardizes the project by discussing it with Alan Parks, head of the Bioethics committee. Franklin leaves Parks’ home and is killed in an accident.

Lars and Mary Hansen discover that they are going to have a baby. Inspired by an angel, they name him Joshua.

Josh takes a job with a Catholic school in Europe teaching children English, where Father Garcia is now the headmaster. Garcia discovers that Josh is directly connected to God.

Josh returns home and meets his soul mate, Madeline Watson, daughter of Jerry Watson, creator of project J2K. Sally Watson shows the couple her husbands notes that reveal the secret clonings from the blood of the Crown.

When Josh discovers the origin of his DNA, he hops a bus to San Francisco where he lives among the homeless and learns a life lesson. Josh has a vision and returns to Maddie to begin a more meaningful life. Together they decide what to do with their newfound history.

Josh is divinely inspired to write a book entitled, Resurrection, If Christ Were Alive Today. The book causes a problems in organized religion, and Josh is accused of being the Anti-Christ.

Father Garcia has left the Catholic Church and is preparing for the arrival of his new Christ, just as the verse he found years ago had foretold. Convinced that he has discovered the “holy savior,” Father Garcia visits Josh and kneels before him, pledging his faith. Josh says do not worship him, saying, “Go out and honor God by the way you live.”

Josh becomes concerned about the fighting in his original homeland, the Middle East, and decides to visit. Journalists greet him with full international coverage. He meets with leaders from both sides and speaks to a crowd of Palestinians in the streets. “Put down your rocks, put down your guns, God has sent me to talk about peace.” Suddenly a bomb explodes near Josh and a young boy. Josh asks God to save the boy giving his own life in return.

CNN carries word of his death to the world and Maddie.

The funeral fuels speculation that Josh might rise again on the third day but when that didn’t happen, people take it as confirmation that the whole story had been a lie.

Maddie and Father Garcia meet with the head of The Fertility Institute in Berkeley and give him two black plastic bags containing two sets of genetic material. Joshua had set up a trust fund from the proceeds of his book to cover any secretly planned expenses. Maddie also handed over two envelopes with the Celtic Cross on each, with instructions that they be given to the chosen prospective parents after the birth of their child. Maddie asked the director to read the message out loud…

Take good care of your precious one. For you have received the greatest gift from God, and with your love and guidance, your child will give back God’s love to humanity. Accept this blessing with your heart and soul and seek him not in any so called house of the Lord, for this child comes to you directly from the Son of God.

Joshua David Hansen, Son of God.
