After bringing the tree home and decorating it, a mouse appears the next morning. Max chases the mouse, and the mouse takes up residence in the Christmas tree.

Max resolves to rid the house of the mouse without hurting the mouse.

About the Author
Allen R. McCaulley writes picture books that are embellishments of things his dog, Max did. He hopes his books make young children smile and desire to become good readers.
