Bites is a collection of light-hearted essays reflecting
the author's sometimes twisted take on everyday life and the absurdities
accompanying it. There's something for everyone in this collection,
including vengeance-seeking pets (the author is referring to her
own, of course), and their over-the-top owners, dating (usually
an other-worldly experience), loony and irascible relatives, careers
(some treacherous, some not), childhood (now we're getting into
dangerous territory), neighbors (eek!), and other subjects lending
themselves to hilarity.
