About the Book
In the 2030s, the state of Ohio, concerned about election improprieties, instituted software known as the “Source of Truth” to run and calculate results for all elections.

To retaliate, the President began to ship Middle Eastern refugees to Ohio. When the Governorship flipped to the other party, Ohio invited Muslims from all over to rejuvenate the aging population.

The elections of 2048 elected a Muslim governor and control of the state General Assembly. A rich Muslim ex-USA football player had paid to tweak the software to swing the election to the Muslims. The “Road the Recovery” instituted Sharia law and restrictions on women’s dress and position, with rules for education, books, and music later.

Only two can put an end to this illegal religious regime:

Bob Springfield, son of a war hero, can rally the older citizens, but he’s on a “Terror Quest” in Afghanistan and does not know his family has been taken into custody.

Najeeba (Christina), Bob’s old lover, is the woman who can help him rescue his wife and children, although it will break her heart.

The pair have little time: University students are creating dirty nuclear bombs for blackmailing other states into adapting the software.

- Henry H. G. Mungle, Chief Warrant Officer US Army (Ret.), Silver Star, Purple Heart, Retired CIA Special Agent and Polygraph Examiner.
"Maxwell knows how to keep a story moving, creates vivid characters, and writes memorable dialogue."
