John L. Moore is a master writer and storyteller. Blue Man is a gem. The rarest of gems. Moore has a unique ability to see beyond the obvious and define the very real battle between the powers of light and darkness. Haunting, lyrical, and true to the core values of the West, John L. Moore's writing shines from within a landscape of dust-blown dreams and empty trails. Blue Man is a remarkable book. Blue Man is a fantastic novel, perhaps John L. Moore's best, in its propelling action with hardly a pause and in the several levels and dimensions of character portrayal. I started the novel late in the day and could not put it down until I finished it at 4 a.m. Blue Man is John L. Moore's best yet. I couldn't put it down. It is brilliantly written with a captivating story, but it also has an important message for our times.
