Alphonso B. Jones is a retired US Air Force Major who served with distinction in the Vietnam war and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and four air medals. After retiring from the military, he embarked on a career as an educator, teaching youth in public and private schools in Hawaii and later serving as the Director of Youth Ministry for the Hawaiian Islands. For the past twenty years, Al has lived in California with his wife as an active faith leader, passionate globetrotter, and deeply involved grandparent. |
