About the Author

JULIE SAMPSON is the author of two non-fiction books — Elite Wrestling (McGraw Hill 2007) and Beginning Wrestling (Sterling Publishing 2000). Her articles have been published in The New York Times and Newsday. She was the sports editor of Imprint newspapers in Connecticut. She was the winner of the fall 2020 Writer’s Weekly 24-hour short story contest. The Eye in the Ceiling is her first novel.
