About the Book
Nessie the Scottie, named for the legendary Loch Ness monster from which she quite possibly descended, bounded into the Sandweiss family from a rescue in Allegan, Michigan, when she was eight weeks old. In the twelve short years that followed, Nessie filled their home with chaos, laughter, and wonder. Possessing the face of an innocent angel and the stealth of a jewel thief, this wheaten Scottish Terrier wrapped everyone she met around her paw, while refusing to learn the meaning of the word No.

These funny and touching tales celebrate the irrepressible terrier spirit and the unconditional love that grows between humans and their beloved canine companions.
