About the Book
Operation Tiger in World War II, was the code name for a large-scale rehearsal for the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France. The rehearsal was to occur on the southern shores of England. As the practice started, the convoy and LST's were discovered and attacked by German E-boats, resulting in a large number of men lost. Among the officers were 10 who were known as BIGOT's, an acronym for British Invasion of German Occupied Territory, which meant they had knowledge of the true invasion site and if captured would compromise the entire operation. Nine of these men were found dead, one was missing, and who was now floating on a raft in the English Channel.
