About the Book
Mr. Krumnow sat eating a jar of pickles, polishing off a cold beer when Patricia Langford walks into his office, sad and on the verge of being unable to hold herself together. She pleads with Mr. Krumnow to take on her husband’s murder case, and to bring the monster directly to her, offering one million dollars. Her husband, the owner and CEO of the Langford Group, a world-renowned brokerage firm, was found scalped next to his Lincoln in his office parking garage, with two live crickets stuck to his eyeballs. Will Mr. Kurmnow and Mrs. Langford be able to catch the killer?

About the Author
Donald G. Webb Donald Gervyn Webb, born in Marlin, Texas, Falls County, (Cattle and Cotton Country), began his journey in story telling years ago when he found himself living in what he had always considered the “perfect” setting - deep in the piney woods of East Texas in a small and very remote community on the Trinity River. Perfect, because he would not be bothered by the chaos of a suburban life. Perfect, because he could pretty much do just what he wanted: grab a pole and go fishing, enjoy the quiet and solitude of the woods, the sounds of the river, and read. To the fishing poles dismay (and the elation of the local fish), there were only a handful of fishing excursions, but the many volumes of novels were given plenty of attention. Donald’s love of reading and studying history became a passion, a favored past time, and soon his own stories began to take shape in the form of novels about the old west, the deep south, science fiction, and mystery. Donald may be “living off the grid” in his quiet spot in East Texas, but his stories, filled with colorful characters and adventure, have him well-traveled. Come along for the ride, you will be glad you did!
