No one can ever fully ever know you in life, your family, closest friends, or acquaintances. Who you start out as is never who you are a second later. I have been many faces that have been shaped and molded by my experiences of trials and tribulations. This book is intended to piece together the gaps of my life that the people in my world only have fragments of the story. "A Piece of Me" covers the complete scope of my life, from the fires of my childhood, to the lost love of my life, finding unexpected patriotism, surviving family betrayal, and finally discovering peace within. Christopher C. McGarity, born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, is the 8th of 11 children. He has made the patriotic sacrifice of serving in the United States Army for the past 14 years. Surging up the military ladder he is currently a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army. |
