About the Book
As the issue of building a dam divides the people of a small town, a life-long friendship is challenged when Lonny and Buford have opposing views. The Apalachicola River is the catalyst that ignites passions, a triangle of illicit love, greed and a thirst for success and power.

Quirky southern characters and a myriad of human emotions and flaws color this story with a rich, yet disturbing, flavor. What price do you pay for progress?
