About the Book
So here you are, brewing your first beer. You are proud you are doing this, and very happy with yourself.

All of the sudden you have an unexpected problem. You ask yourself, “What do I do? I never thought about this happening.” So you sit there frozen, not knowing what to do, trying to think what the best course of action would be.

What can I say? I guess I would say, “Been there, done that!”
“Why did I not anticipate this kind of problem?” you ask yourself.
Well, that is what this book is all about. I think every homebrewer has had a similar scenario. Things can and do go wrong from time to time. Of course, I cannot anticipate every problem, but in my 12 years of brewing I have had a lot of unanticipated problem, some simple to solve, some not so much.

This book is geared to the beginning and novice homebrewer to use as a guidepost and for some things to think about. For the intermediate brewer, it could be a comedy or something to laugh about yet it still has some valuable material. For the advanced brewer, it might also be a walk down Memory Lane. For what ever reason you have this, I hope you find it useful, for a good laugh if nothing else.

About the Author
In 2001, after a lot of reading and research, I started homebrewing. I found it to be fun and at the same time, I found it to be a challenging but rewarding science. It was only after I started when I discovered my mom’s side of the family had multi-generational professional brewers! What a cool discovery!

I started competing with some success, but more important then any awards I won was the experience and knowledge that I gained. The more I learned the more I grew in ability.
