About the Book
Celestial Configurations of Africa and the Caribbean is a book that, with intriguing new perspectives, shows how we can use astrology’s language of time cycles, to peer into the inner dynamics of contemporary African countries. It is based on the start of modern African statehood, through political independence.

Historical records of the beginnings of Africa's ancient kingdoms and city-states and the variety of political forms and astoundingly diverse peoples, are difficult to confidently plot by date, let alone by the precise time.

But between 1951-1994, certain remarkable men told their peoples that their country was independent and free. At those times each country's celestial clock began ticking and a new cycle and rhythm came into being.

In Celestial Configurations of Africa and the Caribbean, Kevin David Raphael Fitch presents: astrology's potential as a valid history-teaching tool, to delve into African and Caribbean cycles of paramount political, economic, and social importance; originally researched and thoroughly documented “Independence” times for each nation-state, a three-part account of master astrologer Onua, and his student Ahmad, each country’s tropical, sidereal, and Vedic horoscope, narrative-descriptions of the dramatic events surrounding each country’s independence moment. And much much more...

Fitch has written a work that unites planetary cycles, history, narrative and profound esoteric teachings that can move one beyond limiting astrological cycles. He studied hundreds of books, articles, and historical newspapers that related to his central topic: Africa's Post WWII Independence Epoch. He blended 31 years of astrology experience to complete the visual and literary results, of his investigations. This 607 page volume presents meaningful correlations of repetitive astronomic cycles at work, within the scores of critical political moments in Africa and the Caribbean. It consists of over 256 charts, maps, and photos.

He envisions the cabinets of all of Africa's duly elected governments as having a Minister of Astrology, or Minister of Stars, working in cooperation with other cabinet members; as well as the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches.
