About the Book
|
As
I began my job search, I found many internet sites that were extremely
thorough in one area while lacking in another. Digging a little deeper,
I realized that, while one site may have excellent résumé and cover
letter advice, another site offers the best interviewing information.
This continued for most every topic.
I WISHED THAT SOMEONE COULD JUST GIVE ME THE BEST SITES AND THE BEST
INFORMATION so I could more quickly do my research and apply for jobs.
Although I do offer tips and information not presented in any book
or site (for example, as a certified hypnotist, I share interviewing
secrets not seen anywhere else), my goal was NOT to reinvent the wheel.
But instead, to help the job seeker find a job as quickly as possible
using the best of the best available information.
And that is exactly what this book does.
If you've been laid off or if you're looking, THERE SIMPLY IS NOT
A MORE THOROUGH, MORE PRACTICAL JOB SEARCH BOOK AVAILABLE.
A former co-worker wondered aloud when our company announced upcoming
layoffs, "I need to start searching. I have a rough idea of how to
find a job, but I don't know EXACTLY where to begin and what to do.
It's overwhelming."
It doesn't have to be overwhelming. Even with the vast amount of information
in this book, all is presented in a very detailed, chronological manner
and yet, because of the writing style, the book is a very fast read.
And that is the purpose of the book...
To help the reader find a job and find it fast.
