The stories are concise and each may be read in one sitting. From the wry humor of "Uncle Hiram" to the tragedy of the Iraq war revealed in "Remembering Bobby Gitteon," Public Image: Stories and Poems captures moments in the lives of people who hope and dream, and who struggle with the world and with themselves.
