An inventor comes to his patent attorney with a gas mileage enhancer that enables cars to get 250 miles per gallon. Because of the astronomical profits the mileage enhancer might produce, the characters display various degrees of greed. Leaders of an Arab terrorist jihad learn of the mileage enhancer and try to suppress it by murdering the inventor and trying to kill his patent attorney. The terrorist jihad has a cell of suicide bombers in the US conspiring to shut down the nation's power grids. The President of the United States backs a free-lance assassin called the Ghost who attacks the leaders of the terrorist jihad. The lore of patents weaves through this fast paced thriller. This book is sequel to A Patent On Murder, in which the common characters clash.
