About the Book
Becca and her date are on their way home from a high school graduation dance and are involved in a horrific accident, which leaves Becca wheelchair dependent. We see her learn how to cope with the change of her status in life. We'll shed a few tears as we sympathize with her problems and we laugh with her as she starts to enjoy life in spite of her handicap. We feel warm and fuzzy at the relationship between father, mother, brother and sister.

We'll marvel at her determination as she volunteers at the amputee ward of a local veteran's hospital, decides to go to college to take classes to help her in the progress of her writing skills, her engagement and finally her wedding - all from the confines of a wheelchair.

This is definitely a book to be read by young people to make them realize even though they think nothing is going to happen to them, sometimes it can and does.

It is a family book because there is no smoking, drugs, or pornography even alluded to in this book.
