Brad and Gloria Edwards appear to ‘have it made’ by most standards. They live in a nice home, have good jobs, and strive to live upright, moral lives. Their daughter, Sherri, attends the local Christian School, (where Gloria also teaches) makes good grades, and is a stand-out soccer player.
However, ‘having it made’ does not exempt anyone from life’s struggles and situations, and the Edwards family is no exception.
As a district manager with the Big South food chain, Brad will find himself caught up in a couple of sticky situations, including employees that suddenly quit, benefits that disappear, and a harassment complaint.
Gloria’s eighth-graders try her patience to its limit when several of them pull a prank that brings the fire and police departments running.
Sherri is looking forward to the summer between her junior and senior years of high school. A new teen-aged neighbor will cause her some tense moments, but the outcome will be an amazing change! Between her neighbor, a new boyfriend, and trying to choose a college, Sherri has her hands full.
Interspersed between all this is the interaction of a family that tries their hardest to live, love, laugh, and relate to each other at every possible opportunity!
